Finding Pitching on the Waiver Wire

Finding pitching during the MLB fantasy season can be disturbingly difficult. If you don’t draft well during your Fantasy Draft then your MLB team might end up in the dumps early on. Today we are going to take a look at a few solid arms on your waiver wire that could definitely help your team today! Find this and more, as always, with our Fantasy Alarm.

Eddie Butler, SP – Chicago Cubs

Through the early part of 2017 Chicago’s seen their ace Jake Arrieta struggle mightily. Fleeing fro Colorado we’ve seen Eddie Butler come in and start putting some work together for Chicago. Butler’s biggest benefit is the fact that he has Chicago’s hard hitting line up behind him which should lead to a fair number of wins. Butler dominated Triple-A before the Cubs called and now he’ll get a chance to stick in the rotation. He’s average peripheral stats should make him available on your waiver wire.

Luis Perdomo, SP – San Diego Padres

We are getting dangerously close to the point where Perdomo is going to be snagged up in a majority of leagues. Perdomo won’t get much run support in San Diego but he’s a great choice for mixed leagues that need an innings-eater on the roster. Perdomo’s ERA is hovering around 4.00 and he’s finally getting a grip on his sinker, racking up a 70% groundball rate. Perdomo won’t blow anyone away but he’s a young arm with a chance to improve on some already adequate numbers.
